RIVERDALE, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University women's soccer team dropped its Skyline Conference match to College of Mount Saint Vincent, 7-0, at the Athletic Field at Marillac on Monday afternoon.
The Dolphins (11-4, 9-1 Skyline) scored three goals in the opening half, and then added four more in the second, to earn the conference victory.
The Maccabees (0-10, 0-9 Skyline) were led by junior
Sophie Dubin who made 12 saves. The Macs' lone shot came from rookie
Alayna Higdon, but it was denied by the Dolphins' sophomore goalkeeper Brooke Frierson.
Yeshiva will take on the United States Merchant Marine Academy, in a conference match out in Kings Point, N.Y., on Wednesday evening. The action begins at 7:00 p.m.
