MONTCLAIR, N.J. – The Yeshiva University men's tennis team concluded the regular season by dropping a hard-fought Skyline match to Manhattanville College, 6-3, at the Brookdale Park Tennis Center on Sunday afternoon. It was YU's first Skyline loss of the year (6-1 Skyline, 8-4 overall) while Manhattanville finishes the regular season with an unblemished conference record (7-0 Skyline, 10-5 overall). As a result, the Maccabees will enter the upcoming Skyline Conference Championships as the No. 2 seed, while the Valiants will compete in the league postseason as the No. 1 seed.
Yeshiva will take on the winner of the Skyline first-round matchup between No. 6 St. Joseph's College Long Island and No. 3 Farmingdale State College, in the semifinal round on Thursday evening, at the USTA National Tennis Center.
During Sunday's match against Manhattanville, Yeshiva lost three tight doubles flights, with two of those losses coming in tiebreakers, but went 3-3 in singles play.

Tomer Mendler came out with a gutsy victory at the first singles position, 6-4, 7-6 (4). Senior
Aaron Cohen won the second singles flight, 6-4, 6-1. Classmate
Leon Bassan was victorious at No. 3 singles, 6-1, 6-3.
