NEW YORK - Three Yeshiva University student-athletes earned a spot on the Skyline Conference Weekly Honor Roll on Tuesday morning. The honorees are seniors
Ethan Fettaya (men's soccer),
Zachary Perl (golf), and
Marshall Northman (men's cross country).
Fettaya led Yeshiva men's soccer to a 2-0 record in Skyline play this week. The Neuilly native produced a goal and a pair of assists during YU's convincing league victory over Maritime College, this past Thursday. Three days later, Fettaya struck again with a goal and an assist on the game-winning tally to propel the Maccabees to their first victory all time against Mount Saint Mary College.
Perl guided the Macs golf team to silver at the Yeshiva University Invitational, on Sunday, by finishing second overall with a score of 76 which was just five over par. This marks the second week in a row that Perl has earned a spot on the league's honor roll.
Northman had a strong run for the Yeshiva University men's cross country team, at the Br. John "Paddy" Doyle Meet of Champions hosted by Iona University, last Friday. He ran five miles in 29:10, finishing ahead of several NCAA Division I runners. The Shaker Heights native has now been on the Skyline Conference Weekly Honor Roll twice this season and was named the Skyline Runner of the Week last Tuesday.
