NEWBURGH, N.Y. - Taking to the field for the first time in a month, the Yeshiva women's soccer team fell to Mount Saint Mary Athletics by a score of 10-0 on Thursday, Oct. 12.
With the loss, the Maccabees are now 0-6, 0-6 in conference play.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Keeper Maayan Berkowitz had solid game in goal for the Macs, notching eight saves while facing down 30 Mount Saint Mary shots.
- Yeshiva were not without their chances to find the back of the net. In the 54th minute after losing her defenders, Alayna Higdon fired an on-target shot, only to see it turned away by the MSM keeper.
