EDGEWATER, N.J. - The Yeshiva University men's tennis team opened the 2023 spring season with a 9-0 loss to SUNY Oneonta (1-2), at Edgewater Tennis Center, on Sunday evening.
Yeshiva (0-3) was competitive in its doubles matches, as senior
Yoni Mayer and junior
Joshua Deutsch won five games at the first position. Sophomores
Harry Radinsky and
Mark Adler claimed four games in the second flight. Classmates
Sion Jacobo and
Pinny Balsam won a pair of games at No. 3 doubles.
In singles play, Jacobo won a pair of games in the first set at the third spot. Adler won four total games on the fourth court. Bussu was victorious in three games at the fifth flight, while rookie
Jose Hambra won a pair of games at No. 6 singles.

Yeshiva will battle New York University on Wednesday, at Stadium Tennis Center, in the Bronx. First serve is set for 9:00 p.m.
