NEW YORK - The Skyline announced its Fall 2022 Academic Honor Roll on Monday and Yeshiva University led the conference for the fifth year in a row with a school-record 82 student-athletes inducted. The previous high was 76, which was set in the fall semester of 2018. The Skyline Academic Honor Roll honors student-athletes in the conference with a 3.3 grade point average or better (4.0 scale) while competing in men's and women's cross country, golf, men's and women's soccer, women's tennis, and women's volleyball during the fall semester. "We hold our student-athletes to a higher standard as far as their performance in the classroom and how well they treat others," said director of athletics, Greg Fox. "We have a group of young men and women who understand the word commitment, and I couldn't be any prouder."
Leading the way for Yeshiva University was the men's cross country team with 86.6.% (13 out of 15) of its student-athletes earning a spot on the Academic Honor Roll. The women's volleyball team had 84.6% (11 out of 13) of the players earn the league's prestigious recognition.
