NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - Playing in their second consecutive road contest, the Yeshiva women's soccer team were defeated by Purchase College, losing to the Panthers by a score of 8-0 on Thursday, Sept. 7.
 
Continuing to serve as the team's brightest star, Maayan Berkowitz played excellently in goal, facing down 20 shots, 14 of which were on target, while notching six saves on the night.
 
The Maccabees were not without their chances to convert, seeing multiple strikers have the ball at their feet in scoring position, only to have the opportunity poked away by the Purchase defense.
 
With the loss, the Macs are 0-4, with all of their losses coming at the hands of conference opponents.

Closing out the week at home, the Macs will host St. Joseph's University Long Island on Sunday, Sept. 10 at 4:00 p.m.
