MAHWAH, NJ - Playing their second of three spring opponents, the Yeshiva women's tennis team fell to Ramapo College, losing to the Roadrunners by a score of 9-0 on Sunday, Apr. 7.
Despite being on the road, the Maccabees took the time before the match to honor a pair of graduating seniors, thanking
Prisylla Mutchnik and
Liana Friedman for their indelible contributions to the program.
With the loss, the Macs are now 3-7, 1-1 in the spring.

- Despite their best efforts, Yeshiva were unable to turn things around in singles play, as Adler (6-0, 6-1), Friedman (6-1, 6-2), Mimoun (6-2, 6-3), Mutchnik (6-2, 6-3) and Sarah Grunseid (6-2, 6-3) all fell in straight sets.
- YU's best chance at a win came in the No. 4 seeded match. After dropping the first set, Laufer came back to win the second by a score of 7-6, forcing a decisive tie-breaker. Unfortunately, Laufer would fall in that final set, dropping the period, 10-4.
