PURCHASE, NY - Winding down play before the holidays, the Yeshiva Women's Soccer Team fell to Purchase College, losing to the Panthers by a score of 8-0 on Sunday, Sept. 22.
Offensively, the Maccabees saw a season-high three shots on goal, with
Lauren Williams notching one while
Barbara Sasson tallied the other two.
On the defensive end, newly-minted keeper
Simone Amkraut had a stellar outing for Yeshiva, facing down 44 shots and making 15 saves.
With the loss, the Macs are now 0-9, 0-7 on the season.
