NEWARK, NJ - Running out onto the pitch for the first time this season, the Yeshiva Women's Soccer team lost to Maritime College, falling to the Privateers by a score of 9-0 on Tuesday, Sept. 3.
Offensively, the Maccabees were led by
Lauren Williams and
Barbara Sasson, with each player recording a shot.
Defensively, goalkeeper Maayan Berkowtiz shone for YU, facing down 36 shots and recording 16 saves on the night.
The night proved significant for many of Yeshiva's first-time student athletes, with

Hadassah Greenberg,
Simone Amkraut,
Leanna Hakakian and Sasson all inaugurating their YU Athletics careers.
