In the poll, YU earned 118 points and eight first place votes, comfortably beating out second place Farmingdale and third place Sarah Lawrence.
The Maccabees are coming off an 18-11 season, a campaign that brought not only a Skyline Championship to The Heights, but an NCAA Tournament berth, the first in three years.
Looking to build on that success under Head Coach
Elliot Steinmetz, the Macs are returning much of their core, including Second Team All-Conference guard
Max Zakheim, and 2024-25 Skyline Player of the Year
Zevi Samet.
The Men's Basketball season is set to kick off on Wednesday, Nov. 12th, when the Macs host Chapman University at the Max Stern Athletic Center.
