BRONX, NY - Taking the field for the final time in 2025, the Yeshiva Women's Soccer team fell to York College, losing to the Cardinals by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday, Nov. 4th.
Before the game, the Maccabees took the opportunity to thank their graduating seniors for their contributions to the program, honoring: Mayaan Berkowitz,
Rachel Amar,
Maya Dennen,
Agam Halperin, and
Perla Freoa.
With the result, the Macs close out the season with a record of 0-13, 0-11 in conference play.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Both sides were held scoreless through the first half of play. York finally broke through in the 70th minute, poking a shot past Berkowitz for the game's only goal.
- Yeshiva were not without their chances to score, registering a shot and two corners in the first half.
