BRONX, NY - Playing on the road for the first time in the 2025, the Yeshiva Softball Team fell to Lehman College, dropping a doubleheader to the Lightning by scores of 18-2 and 15-3 on Tuesday, Mar. 18th.
Â
Offensively, the Maccabees were led by
Ariella Addi, with the senior tallying two hits and four RBIs over two games.
Â
With the losses, the Macs are now 0-6 on the year.
Â
HOW IT HAPPENED - Game 1 (L, 18-2)
- The Maccabee offense was able to consistently get on base through the first two innings, putting a runner on first in the first, and on second in the second.
Â
- However it was not until the fifth inning that YU translated that success into runs. With two outs and teammates on first and second, Addi smacked a double to left field, driving in both Simone Amkraut and Alyssa Feldman for Yeshiva's first two scores of the afternoon.
Â
- Unfortunately, the Mac defensive unit was not able to replicate that same success, conceding 18 runs over four innings, dropping the game, 18-2.

Â
- The Macs were finally able to capitalize in the third. With runners on the corners, Addi once again stepped up to the plate and leveled a single out to left field, driving in Roth and Hadassah Greenberg for a pair of runs.
Â
- Yeshiva grew their scoreline in the fourth, with Hellman strolling home off a bases-loaded walk by Roth.
