MONTCLAIR, NJ - Keeping their unbeaten conference record intact, the Yeshiva Men's Tennis Team took down Mount Saint Mary College, dominating the Knights by a score of 6-1 on Tuesday, Mar. 25th.
 
The Maccabees started off strong in doubles play, winning all three matches to take a 1-0 lead headed into singles. YU maintained their momentum into singles play, coming away with five of the six contests to secure a 6-1 win.
 
With the result, the Macs improve to 4-3, 2-0 in conference play.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
Doubles:

• Bursting out of the gate, Yeshiva swept through all three doubles contests. The pairs of Matan Kamhi/Eithan Sapir (6-0), David Cattan/Elan Goldstein (6-4) and Harry Radinsky/Jimmy Li (6-1) all claimed wins, securing YU the doubles point and a 1-0 lead.

 
Singles:

• Keeping their foot firmly planted on the gas, the Macs continued to roll in singles play. Kamhi, Jacob Pfeifer, Cattan, Radinksy and Jeremiah Schwartz all took down their opponents in straight sets, with Kamhi and Cattan taking their dominance a step further and not dropping a single game, walking away with a 6-0, 6-0 victory.
   
• Yeshiva's only loss came in the No. 4 slot, when Leo Rahmey fell, 6-4, 7-5. Despite the stumble, YU still claimed a decisive 6-1 win over their conference foe.

With just 24 hours between matches, the Macs will continue to grind through conference opponents, hosting Sarah Lawrence College on Wednesday, Mar. 26th at 7:00 PM.
