BROOKLYN, NY - Taking on their final non-conference opponent of the season, the Yeshiva Softball Team fell to Brooklyn College, dropping a double header to the Bulldogs by scores of 17-2 and 8-0 on Friday, Mar. 28th.
Â
The Maccabees were led by
Alyssa Feldman, with the junior tallying two hits and a run across the pair of contests.
Â
With the results, the Macs are now 1-13.
Â
HOW IT HAPPENED - Game 1 (L, 17-2)
- The Macs fell behind early, surrendering four runs in the first inning, four in the second, and three in the third.
Â
- Yeshiva was finally able to get on the board in the top of the fourth, when Tali Schimmel scored on a Zahava Moskowitz fielder's choice.
Â
- While YU was able to put up one more run in the fifth when Feldman crossed home on a passed ball, the effort was not enough to usurp the Bulldogs' hold on the game, dropping the contest, 17-2.
