FARMINGDALE, NY - Taking on their final conference opponent of the 2025 season, the Yeshiva Baseball Team fell to Farmingdale State College, losing to the Rams by scores of 26-0 and 25-3 on Sunday, May 4.
The Maccabees were led by
Jacob Canner, with the junior putting up three hits and a run across the pair of games.
With the results, the Macs close out their conference schedule with a record of 0-20.
HOW IT HAPPENED - Game 1 (L, 26-0)
- Yeshiva struggled offensively in game one, only managing four hits, one each from the quartet of Jake Arnow, Reuven Hellman, Jacob Shakin and Canner.
- Unfortunately, the Mac pitching staff did not fare much better. Mendy Kanofsky pitched a complete game, only allowing three walks, but surrendered 26 runs, seeing YU lose, 26-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED - Game 2 (L, 25-3)
- The Macs managed to get on the board in game two, breaking through in the bottom of the sixth. After reaching on a walk, Zirdok crossed home on a wild pitch for YU's first fun of the afternoon.
- The Macs added two more in the bottom of the seventh, with Canner scoring on a Jacob Shakin ground out, and Kanofsky coming home on a wild pitch.
- However, Yeshiva's trio of runs was not enough to wrest control of the game away from their conference foe, with Farmingdale notching one run in the first, four in the second, 12 in the fourth, three in the fifth, three in the sixth and two in the seventh, seeing the Macs fall, 25-3.
