NEW ROCHELLE, NY - Playing their final games of the 2025 season, the Yeshiva Softball Team fell to Mount Saint Mary College, losing to the Knights by scores of 20-3 and 23-4 on Sunday, May 4th.
 
The Maccabees were led by Ariella Addi and Zahava Moskowitz, with Addi tallying two runs and a hit in game one, and Moskowitz notching two hits and a run in game two.
 
With the result, the Macs close out their season with a record of 1-27, 0-18 in conference play.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED - Game 1

• Yeshiva's offense broke through in the bottom of the third inning. Alyssa Feldman crossed home on a wild pitch, putting up YU's first run, followed shortly by Addi, who scored on another wild pitch.
   
• The Macs added to their run total in the fifth, when Addi scored for the second time on a Simone Amkraut groundout.
   
• Unfortunately, the trio of Maccabee runs was not enough to contest MSM's hold on the contest, with the Knights tallying four runs in the first, three in the second, 10 in the third, two in the fourth and one in the fifth, downing the Macs, 20-3.

HOW IT HAPPENED - Game 2

• Yeshiva tallied all four of their game two runs in the bottom of the third. Hadassah Greenberg got the ball rolling, scoring on a Tali Finkelstein single, followed immediately by Moskowitz, who came home on an Addi groundout. Finkelstein and Feldman bookended the scoring, coming home on an error and a fielder's choice respectively.
   
• However, the Maccabee pitching could not keep the Knight bats at bay, seeing the Macs fall, 23-4.
