KINGS POINT, NY - Opening the week on the road, the Yeshiva Women's Soccer Team fell to the United States Merchant Marine Academy, losing to the Mariners by a score of 12-0 on Tuesday, Sept. 9th.
Offensively, the Maccabees saw two shots on goal.
Ilana Schwartz tallied one in the 79th minute, while
Naomi Sigman lasered an attempt on target in the 80th.
On the defensive side of the ball, the Macs saw a stellar performance out of keeper
Maayan Berkowitz, with the New Jersey native tallying 17 saves on 41 shots faced.
With the loss, the Macs are now 0-5, 0-4 in conference play.
