MONTCLAIR, NJ - Taking on their first conference opponent of the season, the Yeshiva Women's Tennis Team fell to Farmingdale State College, losing to the Rams by a score of 6-1 on Wednesday, Sept. 3rd.
The Maccabees started off slow in doubles play, dropping all three matches. Despite their best efforts, YU could not turn around their fortune in singles, falling in all but one contest.
With the loss, the Macs are now 1-1, 0-1 in conference play.

- Yeshiva's luck did not change in singles, with Pollock (6-2, 6-0), Mimoun (6-1, 6-0), Resnick (6-1, 6-2), Schewitz (6-3, 6-4) and Tilem (6-2, 6-4) all losing to their conference foes.
- The Maccabees' lone win came in the No. 3 seeded match. Laufer got the better of her opponent in a three-set slog, coming out on top, 6-3, 2-6, 10-6.
