TEANECK, NJ - Taking the field for the first time in 2026, the Yeshiva Baseball team fell to the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, losing to the Trailblazers by scores of 23-1 and 8-5 on Sunday, Mar. 1st.
Â
The Maccabees were led by
Jake Arnow, with second-year phenom tallying four hits, two runs, and two RBIs across the pair of contests.
Â
With the result, the Macs are now 0-2 on the season.
Â
HOW IT HAPPENED - Game 1 (L, 23-1)
- Yeshiva fell behind early, trailing 13-0 through the first four innings.
Â
- The Maccabees finally got on the board in the fifth, with a single from Josh Paskoff driving Arnow home.
Â
- Unfortunately, the effort was not enough for YU to overcome their deficit. 10 more MCLA runs in the final two innings sealed Yeshiva's fate, as the Macs opened the season with a 23-1 loss.
