MONTCLAIR, NJ - Suffering just their second conference loss, the Yeshiva Men's Tennis Team fell to the United States Merchant Marine Academy, losing to the Mariners by a score of 5-2 on Sunday, Apr. 19th.
Before the match, the Maccabees took time to honor their graduating seniors on Senior Night, thanking
Israel Bussu,
Elan Goldstein, and
Amittai Najman-Licht for their years of commitment and excellent play.
The Maccabees started out slow, dropping two of three doubles matches to carry a 1-0 deficit into singles play. Unfortunately, Yeshiva only managed two points in singles, not enough to overcome their conference foe, ultimately falling by a score of 5-2.
With the result, the Macs are now 6-7, 4-2 in Skyline play.
