Our May female athlete of the month is Erin Potasnick. A junior from Teaneck, New Jersey, Erin is a member of Yeshiva’s first ever varsity softball roster. On the field, Erin has led the charge for Yeshiva’s newest program, leading the team to big wins against Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference foes and other highly skilled teams around the area.
Statistically, Erin put up incredible numbers, which includes a team best in doubles (5), runs batted in (17), total bases (24) and slugging percentage (.889). She also shares the team and HVIAC lead in homeruns (2) and is second on the squad in batting average (.407). Erin has also pitched in two games this season with one being a complete game.
A Psychology major, Erin has aspirations of being a sports psychologist upon graduation from Yeshiva.
