Our October female athlete of the month is Shlomit Braun. A senior from Skokie, Illinois, Shlomit is a member of Yeshiva’s women's soccer team. On the pitch, Shlomit was solid all season, helping the team to three wins and a berth into the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference playoffs. She scored four goals this season and had one assist for nine points.

What is your favorite thing about Yeshiva University?It allows me to be on a sports team and it allows me to be in a Jewish social environment.

What accomplishment are you most proud of?I got MVP and All Conference for soccer my senior year of high school
What is your favorite hobby (besides the sport you play)?Playing Basketball, exercising, and volunteering with kids

What would people you know now find surprising about you when you were younger?That I was a premature baby and was born 7 weeks early.
