Ayal Hod, the younger brother of fellow Yeshiva Athletics Hall of Fame Inductee Lior Hod, completed his prolific career as YU’s All-Time Leading Scorer with 1,807 points. Still No. 3 on YU’s All-Time Rebounding List with 1,109 career boards, he is one of just four 1,000-1,000 players in program history. He scored 514 points (22.3 ppg) and snatched 320 rebounds (13.9 rpg) during a senior season in which he was named First-Team All-Conference and All-Met. Hod brought down 30 rebounds in a game in ’89. As a freshman in 1985-86, Hod was named Independent Athletic Conference Rookie of the Year. During his impressive career, he was a two-time IAC first team honoree.
