Lior Hod finished his illustrious YU career as the school’s all-time leading scorer with 1,541 points. Hod’s legacy continued to spread at YU as his three sons, Jordan (2013-2017), Justin (2015-2019), and Tyler (2016-2020) all played on the men’s basketball team. A two-time co-captain, in 1987-88, Hod was named All-Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association first team and was selected Independent Athletic Conference Most Valuable Player after averaging 19.2 points and 9.7 rebounds per game. That year he helped the MACS to 16 wins, tied at the time for most in program history. A year prior, he earned a spot on the All-IAC team.
