Chad de Castro began his second stint as assistant coach of the Yeshiva University men's volleyball team in February of 2020. He also helped coach the program during the 2016 season. De Castro will also serve as the assistant coach of the Yeshiva University women's volleyball team.
De Castro played collegiate volleyball for De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde from 2007-2011 and served as a team captain. He was named the Rookie of the Year and earned awards for "Best Attacker", "Best Server", and "Best Digger".
From 2003-2007, de Castro played high school volleyball for De La Salle University-Lipa. His team competed in Nationals for four consecutive years. He earned awards for "Best Hitter" and "Best Digger".
Currently residing in New York City, de Castro earned his bachelor's degree in hotel, restaurant, and institution management from De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde in October of 2012.
