Jillian Serraro

Jillian Serraro joined the Yeshiva University softball team as the assistant coach in January of 2018.

Serraro attended Oneonta State from 2008 through 2012, where she played for the Red Dragons softball team. In 2010, Serraro was selected to the SUNYAC All-Tournament Team. She led the team with a .349 average that spring, while also leading the team with 14 doubles and 45 hits to go along with 23 runs batted in and 20 runs scored.

That year, Serraro also threw 36 innings as a relief pitcher with a 1.75 ERA. She recorded 23 strikeouts and only allowed 33 hits, while holding opponents to a .232 batting average.

A native of Hopewell Junction, N.Y., Serraro earned her Bachelor of Science in apparel and textiles from Oneonta State in 2012. She went on to receive her bachelor's degree in registered nursing from the College of New Rochelle in 2017.
