Sarah Hiller Head Shot

Sarah Hiller

Sarah Hiller was hired as the Director of Athletics Operations and Administration at her alma mater, Yeshiva University, in August of 2022. Additionally, she will serve as the department's Physical Therapist for the student-athletes. Hiller also joins both the YU women's cross country and softball programs as an Assistant Coach.

In her new role, Hiller will oversee gameday operations, assist in rehabilitation and injury prevention, create content for the Yeshiva Athletics' social media channels, and help organize workouts for all 15 collegiate teams at YU.

No stranger to Yeshiva, Hiller was a three-year student-athlete for the Maccabees softball team from 2017 until 2019. She also played for the Yeshiva University women's tennis team program during the 2018 season.

Thanks to her strong leadership, Hiller served as the softball team captain during her junior and senior campaigns. In her final year, she produced 20 hits, drove in 19 runs, scored 14 times, and reached base 43.8% of the time. She recorded 59 putouts and 20 assists, while primarily playing the catcher position.

Hiller was the recipient of the Aaron Meyer Memorial Award, in recognition of selfless dedication to the athletics program, two years in a row (2018 and 2019) at the annual athletics banquet at YU. Hiller remains the only person to earn the award multiple times. At the 2019 awards dinner, the Fair Lawn, N.J. native was named the Most Outstanding Yeshiva University Graduating Female Scholar-Athlete.

During her time as a student-athlete, Hiller earned a spot on the Skyline Academic Honor Roll four times and was named an ITA Scholar-Athlete in July of 2019.

After earning her bachelor's degree in biology from Yeshiva University in 2019, she continued to help the athletics department by scoring basketball and volleyball contests, as well as filling various roles behind the scenes. During that time, she worked on her doctorate degree in physical therapy at Hunter College.

Hiller graduated from Hunter College in May of 2022.
