Nicole Petri was hired as an assistant coach of the Yeshiva University women's basketball team in August of 2019.
Petri played four years of college basketball at her alma mater, Widener University, from 2014 until 2018. She served as the team captain during her junior and senior years. In her senior season, she earned the Middle Atlantic Conference (Commonwealth) Sportsmanship Award. Petri was selected to the MACC Academic Honor Roll three times and was also a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee from 2016 until 2018.
The Congers Native was a four-year letter winner for the Clarkstown North girls basketball team. She earned all-league honors in each of her four years.
Petri earned her Bachelor of Arts in early childhood and special education in May of 2018, and her Master of Education in instructional technology a year later. She earned both degrees from Widener University.
