Stephany Neptune

Stephany Neptune began her second stint as assistant coach for the Yeshiva University women’s basketball team in September of 2022. Her first tenure as YU's assistant coach occurred from  August of 2016.until May of 2018.

Neptune worked as the assistant director of basketball development at Force Athletics from September of 2018 until September of 2022. While there, she studied the rules and regulations of the game, provided mentorship to players and coaches, studied the skills and abilities of the players to maximize performance, trained incoming coaches, and assisted with plays and game execution. 

Prior to her first stint at Yeshiva, Neptune served as the assistant coach of the Trinity School girls varsity basketball team in 2014. While at Trinity, Neptune assisted the head coach with daily planning of basketball practice. She was also responsible for developing effective game strategies and practice sessions.

In 2012, Neptune served as a graduate assistant for the Southern Illinois University-Carbondale women’s basketball team. Among her duties were providing the coaching staff with edited game film on opposing teams, planning and organizing travel, hotel accommodations, and restaurant arrangements for all home and away games, as well as being the primary liaison that provided each player with scouting reports for every game.

In the summer of 2011, Neptune played professional basketball in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She served as the captain for her championship-winning team, and was named the Most Valuable Player of the playoffs.

A native of New York, N.Y., Neptune received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Tusculum College in June of 2009. She earned her Master of Science in Kinesiology from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale in May of 2013 and a Master of Science in Education from Touro College in June of 2018. Seh is working on her Post Baccalaureate in Pre-Med at Fordham University.
