Lidia Garcia joined the women's cross country program as an assistant coach in August of 2018.
No stranger to coaching, Garcia serves as a success coach and counselor for the Lust for Life, where she coached elementary through high school aged athletes through age-appropriate goal setting, sports conditioning, and mental rehearsal for optimized athletic success.
As a student-athlete, Garcia competed for the University of California Riverside women's cross country and track teams (Division I) from 2003-2004.
Currently residing in New York, N.Y., Garcia received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UC Riverside in June of 2007. She earned her Master of Science in Social Work from the Columbia University School of Social Work in May of 2014.
