Yeshiva University Athletics

Sharone Huey has had a lengthy career in fencing. She joined the Yeshiva University women's fencing program as an assistant coach in September of 2008. 

Huey graduated from Brooklyn College where she learned to fence. As a member of the fencing team, she served as the team captain, and was part of the team that won the City Championship. She has been fencing for over 30 years and has been competing on a regular basis since 1999.

In the mid-1990's, Huey created a fitness class, namely Cardio-Fence, which was listed as one of the hottest classes in NYC by Fitness Magazine.

Heuy resides in Brooklyn, N.Y., and works as an exercise physiologist at Chelsea Piers Sports Center.
