Camelia Valentin joined the Yeshiva University women’s soccer program as an assistant coach in September of 2018.
Valentin played collegiate soccer for Rutgers-Newark from 2008-2011. Primarily a defender, the Haskell, New Jersey native also started two matches as the goalkeeper during her senior year. Valentin was named to the All-Tournament team at the Meredith College Classic, in 2011.
Prior to playing at Rutgers-Newark, Valentin was a two-year letter winner for Lakeland Regional High School. She guided her team to the county and state playoffs in each of her two seasons. Valentin was also successful in the classroom, earning a spot on the honor roll in each of her four years at Lakeland Regional.
Valentin earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rutgers-Newark in August of 2012.
