Daniel Ruiz was hired as an assistant coach for the Yeshiva University women's soccer team in August of 2019.
From 2014 until 2019, Ruiz served as team captain in the New Jersey Play Sports Soccer League. He created, organized, and led a team of 11 players that competed in statewide competition. Ruiz recruited players from diverse backgrounds and ensured a smooth transition for players joining the team. He also networked with athletic organizations to host soccer tournaments featuring more than 10 teams of at least 10 players.
A native of Parsippany, N.J., Ruiz earned a bachelor's degree in supply chain management and marketing sciences from the Rutgers Business School at Rutgers University in May of 2016.
