Erica Keil

Erica Keil joined the Yeshiva University women's soccer program as an assistant coach in August of 2019.

No stranger to coaching at the collegiate level, Keil's most recent stint was at Long Island University Brooklyn, working for the program as an assistant/goalkeeper coach from 2017 until 2018. Prior to LIU, Keil had the same role for the North Carolina Wesleyan women's soccer program in 2016.

Keil served as the assistant/goalkeeper coach for the Wesley College women's soccer program during the 2014 season, leading the Wolverines to their first ever appearance in the ECAC tournament. She worked for the Wesley men's soccer team, in the same role, the next year.

The Packanack, N.J. native has years of coaching experience at both the youth and high school levels.

Keil had a very successful playing career as well. She was a three-year starting goalkeeper for the Virginia Wesleyan University women's soccer program (2010-2012). Keil led her team to the NCAA tournament three times, earned an appearance in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championship match twice, and was named to the ODAC All-Conference team two times. She earned a spot on the All-South Atlantic second team in 2012. 

Currently residing in Wayne, N.J., Keil graduated from Virginia Wesleyan University with a bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies, with an emphasis on special education K-12 and elementary education, in May of 2014. She earned her master's degree in athletic leadership, with an emphasis on coaching, from Wesley College in May of 2016.
