Coach Wegman is a graduate of the College of William and Mary. He has been a tennis coach at the Richmond, Virginia YMCA, running classes for adult and youth students.
He has also been the Deep Run High School Boy's Tennis Coach in Glen Allen, VA from 2015-2024, leading the team to State Championships in 2021, 2022, and 2023, coaching the state singles champions in 2018 and 2024, and the state doubles champions in 2023 and 2024. He was the Virginia State Coach of the Year in 2023.
