(Hoboken, NJ) - Junior Ariel Simchi (Fairlawn, NJ/Frisch) was impressive once again, losing 12-6 in the 141-pound weight class, and junior Isaac Kuyunov (Hollis, NY/Hertzelia) battled at 133 pounds, ultimately falling by pinfall at 7:00 as the Yeshiva University Wrestling team lost its second straight match, 55-0 to the Stevens Institute of Technology on Nov. 9 at Stevens. With the loss, Yeshiva is now 0-2 for the 2008-09 season.

Simchi and Kuyunov provided the highlights for YU as the Maccabees saw four Stevens wrestlers win via pinfall. Yeshiva also received an outstanding performance from freshman Amichi Levy (West Hempstead, NY/HAFTR), who was defeated via technical pinfall at 2:28.

Yeshiva returns to action on Nov. 19 when they participate in a tri-match with NYU and the College of New Jersey at NYU. The match begins at 7:00 p.m.
