New York, NY- The Yeshiva wrestling team opened their 2011-2012 season with a 53-0 loss to Stevens Institute of Technology Wednesday night.  Yeshiva was represented in eight of the ten weight classes with two of those matches going to a major decision.
 
Senior captain Amichai Levy had a very strong showing as he faced off against Michael DeLeillo in the 141 pound weight class.  The match went all three period with DeLeillo pulling out a 12-2 decision.  Senior Eli Fuld also went the distance in his 165 pound match losing a close and hard fought decision 6-1.  The result of the entire match can be found below.

The Yeshiva wrestling team is back in action Tuesday, November 22^nd as the Maccabees compete in a tri-match against Hunter and NYU.  The match will take place at NYU starting at 6:00 Pm.
