NEWBURGH, N.Y.— The Yeshiva University women's volleyball team was defeated by Mount Saint Mary's College 3-0 (25-9, 25-10, 25-14) in a Skyline Conference matchup on Wednesday evening.
The loss leaves the Maccabees at 0-13 overall and 0-3 in Skyline Conference play this season, while Mt. St. Mary's College is now 15-15 overall and 4-1 in the Skyline Conference.
Yeshiva was led by
Emily Rohan with three kills, three assists, three digs and a service ace, while
Shaina Hourizadeh had nine digs.
Shana Wolfstein had a kill and eight digs, while
Marissa Almoslino added a kill and two service aces.
Yeshiva is back in action on Sunday for a Skyline Conference multi-match date at the College of Mount Saint Vincent. The Maccabees will play the host Dolphins at 11 a.m. before taking on Maritime College at 1 p.m.
