RIVERDALE, N.Y.— The Yeshiva University women's volleyball team was defeated in a pair of matches at a Skyline Conference multi-match hosted by the College of Mount Saint Vincent Sunday. The Maccabees lost to the host Dolphins 3-0 (25-6, 25-10, 25-4) before falling to Maritime College 3-0 (25-9, 25-12, 25-9).
Yeshiva University is now 0-15 (0-5 Skyline) this season.
In the match against the College of Mount Saint Vincent,
Aliza Muller led with four kills, while
Shaina Hourizadeh had a kill and nine digs.
Carol Jacobson and
Marissa Almoslino added seven digs each for the Maccabees.
Against Maritime College, Almoslino led with three kills and four digs, while Muller had two kills, three service aces, two assists and two digs. Hourizadeh added seven digs in the match for Yeshiva.
Yeshiva is back in action on Tuesday for a home contest against the College at Old Westbury at the ARC Arena on the campus of Baruch College at 8 p.m.
