FARMINGDALE, N.Y.— The Yeshiva men's soccer team wrapped up its 2014 Skyline and road schedule on Tuesday afternoon with a 6-1 loss at Farmingdale State College.
Yeshiva ends its 2014 Skyline Conference season with a 2-6-1 showing and its overall record falls to 8-7-1. Farmingdale State is now 4-5-1 in Skyline Conference play and 7-11-1 overall.
The host Rams led 2-0 at halftime, then scored two early second half goals to take a 4-0 lead. The Maccabees' lone goal came during the seventy-first minute when
Aaron Braun netted a goal from about 20 yards out off a pass from
Itamar Ben David. But Farmingdale State scored twice more in the latter stages of the game for the 6-1 final.
Farmingdale State held a narrow 19-18 edge on shots, and a 10-6 advantage in shots on goal.
Yeshiva is back in action on Friday for a home contest against Medgar Evers College at Tibbets Brook Park at noon.
