PATCHOGUE, N.Y.— The Yeshiva women's volleyball team was defeated by St. Joseph's-Long Island 3-0 (25-7, 25-16, 25-6) in a match at the Danzi Center on Thursday evening.
The loss drops the Maccabees to 1-16 (1-6 Skyline) this season, while St. Joseph's-Long Island is now 17-10 (6-1 Skyline).
In the match on Thursday,
Emily Rohan led the team with two kills and three digs, while
Shaina Hourizadeh had six digs.
Yeshiva wraps up its 2014 season with a Skyline Conference multi-match on Sunday against Purchase College and Sarah Lawrence College at Purchase College Gymnasium. The match against Sarah Lawrence College is at 11 a.m., while Yeshiva will play the host Panthers at 1 p.m.
