Macs Madness Shaping Up to be a Grand Show on February 11

This is one show you won't want to miss! The Yeshiva University Department of Athletics, along with its Student Athlete Advisory Committee and the Stern College for Women Student Council (SCWSC) has announced its Macs Madness event, happening this Tuesday, February 11 when the Yeshiva women's basketball team takes on Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference rival College of New Rochelle.

The game, which will be played at the ARC Arena on the campus of Baruch College (East 24th Street and Lexington Avenue), is scheduled to start at 8 p.m., with a pre game pep rally on the Beren campus starting at 7 p.m. The pep rally, which will include a chance for fans to make signs making and have their faces painted in support for the Macs, will be in rooms 101 and 102 at 245 Lexington Avenue.

The evening will be loaded with contests, prizes, plus a free Macs Madness t-shirt for the first 50 fans in attendance. It is also senior night for three exceptional seniors on the team, including Rebecca Yoshor, Haley David and Adar Baytner.

There is also currently a Macs Madness Facebook photo contest going on between now and February 11 at 5 p.m.  Like Yeshiva Athletics on facebook (www.facebook.com/yuathletics) and like your favorite pictures in the "Macs Madness Women's Basketball Photo Contest." The fans in the photos who get the most "Likes" will win cool prizes.

There will be a free shuttle bus leaving from the Wilf Campus at 7 p.m. Space is limited so please contact Alex Winnicker at (212) 960-5291 or Alexander.winnicker@yu.edu to reserve a spot soon.

If that is not enough to get you there, playoff implications are on the line. If the Macs win on Tuesday, the team will clinch a berth into the 2014 HVIAC women's basketball playoffs.

So come on out to the ARC Arena on Tuesday night. Cheer loud and cheer proud and Let's Go Macs!
