BOX SCOREPURCHASE, N.Y.— The Yeshiva University men's tennis team earned another 9-0 win on Wednesday as the Maccabees beat Purchase College by that score. The win is the second in a row for Yeshiva and the ninth in 10 matches.
In doubles play,
Igal Mostkov and
Steven Jemal won at No.1, 8-5, while
Dmitri Lebedyev and
Avi Seidman won at No.2 doubles, 8-4. At No. 3 doubles, it was
Jeremy Seftel and
Charles Saka winning 8-1.
In singles matches, Mostkov blanked his opponent 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1, while Lebedyev was a 6-1, 6-0 winner in the No. 2 spot. At No.3, Jemal was a 6-3, 6-2 winner, while at No. 4 it was Seftel winning 6-1, 6-0. In the No.5 singles spot, Saka won 6-3, 6-1, while at No. 6 singles
Robby Rubin won 6-2, 6-0.
