Box Score 2 NEW YORK, NY --- The Yeshiva University women's volleyball went 0-2 at the Tri-Match against the visiting Culinary Institute of America and the Pratt Institute on Sunday at the ARC Arena on the Baruch Campus. The Maccabees lost in three sets to the Steels of Culinary (20-25, 19-25, 19-25) before falling short in a four set battle against the Cannoneers (13-25, 25-20, 14-25, 21-25).
Junior
Gavriela Colton led Yeshiva with 21 kills over seven sets. Colton also hit .203 on her attacks and made two solo blocks at the net. Junior
Shaina Hourizadeh led the defense with 42 digs, while senior
Emily Rohan accumulated five service aces and 24 digs.
The Maccabees are now 1-7 on the year.
Up next for Yeshiva, the team resumes their Skyline Conference schedule on Tuesday night when they play host to Farmingdale State College at 8:00 p.m.
