Box Score NEW YORK, NY --- Yeshiva University lost to visiting Farmingdale State College in three sets in Skyline women's volleyball action on Tuesday night at the ARC Arena on the Baruch College campus. Set scores were 25-20, 25-11 and 25-19 in favor of the visiting Rams.
Sophomore
Gavriela Colton led the Maccabees with five kills and two digs. Senior
Emily Rohan had one of her best matches of the season, with a match-high 11 digs with three kills and two service aces. Senior
Aliza Muller had a team-high eight set assists with three kills and four digs.
Farmingdale State was led by freshman Annie Cosgrove with ten kills and a .368 attack percentage to go along with five digs. Junior Christina Hickey tallied eight service aces with eight kills and nine digs. Sophomore Gina Giacalone finished with a match high 24 set assists with two service aces and four digs.
The closest set came in the opening frame. Down 22-16, the Maccabees reeled off four straight points behind Rohan's serving. It would not be enough, however, as the Rams closed out the set.
Yeshiva falls to 1-8 on the season and 0-3 in Skyline Conference play while Farmingdale State improves to 9-8 overall while remaining undefeated against league opponents at 4-0.
Yeshiva will be back on the court on Thursday when they travel to Lehman College to play the Lightning in an 8:00 p.m. matchup.
