ALBANY, N.Y.— The Yeshiva women's basketball team was defeated by Sage College 70-49 on Sunday afternoon.
The loss leaves the Maccabees at 3-16 this season, while Sage is now 16-5 on the year.
Yeshiva was led by
Stephanie Greenberg with 21 points and six rebounds, while
Julia Owen had 15 points, eight rebounds, four steals and three blocked shots.
Tess Blaustein added 11 rebounds, five assists, three steals and two blocked shots.
Sage was led by Genevieve Schoff with 24 points and nine rebounds.
Sage held a 30-16 advantage on points in the paint, and 15-8 on second chance points. The host Gators outrebounded the Maccabees 54-38.
Yeshiva is back in action on Tuesday for a game at Purchase College at 8 p.m.
