JERSEY CITY, N.J.— The Yeshiva men's volleyball team lost in three straight set (4-25, 14-25, 16-25) to New Jersey City University (NJCU) on Thursday evening.
The loss leaves the Maccabees at 1-6 overall and 0-3 in Skyline Conference play, while NJCU is now 6-3 overall and 3-0 in Skyline Conference games.
Yeshiva was led by
Benjamin Mann with five kills, while
Kolya Miller had four kills.
Eliakim Gartenberg added two kills and a block assist.
Joseph Lipton added a team-high six digs, while
Hirschy Zaks had five.
Jorge Dabah had 12 assists for the Maccabees.
NJCU was led by Sheldon Coure with seven kills and four total blocks (one solo and three assists).
Yeshiva is back in action on Sunday for a tri-match at Sage College. The Maccabees will face Sage College at 11 a.m., followed by a contest with Mount Ida College at 1 p.m.
