BRONX, N.Y.— The Yeshiva baseball team fell 14-3 to Lehman College on Tuesday evening.
 
The Maccabees were led by Josh Gurin who was 2-for-4 with a double and a run batted in, while Joseph Bankier went 1-for-3 with a run and a run batted in. Zachary Perl and Elan Paul both went 1-for-4 and scored a run each.
 
The host Lightning scored the first 14 runs of the game and led 14-0 after six innings. The Maccabees scored one run in each of the final three innings to make the score 14-3 before the game ended. The Maccabees first run came in the top of the seventh inning when Bankier lifted a sacrifice fly to right field to scored Perl. Then in the eighth inning Gurin hit an infield single that scored Paul. In the ninth inning, Jacob Isaac Meir, pinch hitting, hit a single through the left side to score Bankier.
 
Lehman was led by Jhon Comas who was 3-for-3 with two doubles, a homerun, three runs and three runs batted in.
 
Benjy Blumenthal suffered the loss after going 5.1 innings and allowed 14 runs (nine earned) on 16 hits while striking out three.
 
Yeshi va is back in action on Wednesday for a game against St. Joseph's-Brooklyn at Taft High School at 8 p.m.
