TEANECK, N.J. – The Yeshiva University men's soccer team earned a convincing non-conference victory over the University of Valley Forge, 8-1, at University Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The Maccabees have now won two of their last three contests.
Yeshiva (4-11-1) outscored Valley Forge (7-13) 5-0 in the first half and 3-1 in the second, to clinch the victory. YU's first goal occurred in the 8

Albert Dichy produced the official game winning goal, his first of two goals during the afternoon, which propelled Yeshiva to the one-sided win.
The Maccabees were also led by senior forward
Itamar Ben David, who scored two goals and provided three assists in the contest. Classmate
Yosef Amihay Gerszberg capped of Yeshiva's scoring by tallying his first goal of the season, in the 81
st minute. Silberman produced one assist, while sophomore forward Julian Riback and junior midfielder
Daniel Horowitz each produced two helpers. Dichy picked up an assist of his own.
For the match, Yeshiva outshot Valley Forge, 27-11, while having the edge in corner kicks, 6-2. Freshman goalkeeper
Max Goldstein made three saves to pick up the win in net.
The Maccabees will be back in action on Friday, November 11, for a non-conference match against Baruch College at Votee Park, beginning at 12:00 p.m.
